here's some of my recent character design!

2 person dialogue

This layout took a ridiculous amount of time. I know i keep saying that, but this was a lot of work. 2.5 times the size of the layouts i've been doing up until now. I like the way it turned out, but scanning it in kind of made it worse. looks better in real life i promise.

2 point layout

this is a layout i did a while ago. you can tell from all the blue lines, that layout requires quite a bit of prep if you want it to look right.

i drawing i did recently, and i'm pretty happy with how it turned out. been awhile since ive done super hero stuff, but i've been reading invincible lately (thats probably where the goggles came from, plus goggles are sweet.)

Bagel Monster

I had some free time (gasp!) over the weekend, and decided to look over a photoshop tutorial done by none other that capilano's own tony cliff, and illustrate a drawing i did awhile ago. i followed it pretty loosely, but it turned out pretty well.

What kind of cars do you like?

The final assignment for our special effects unit. Music in the background is The cars that go boom by LeTrimm (later remade by LeTigre). This took forever, but i think i learned a lot from the experience.
